About Me

My photo
After years of talking/thinking about it we finally decided to cut the land ties, purchase a boat, and start a new adventure. It's that moment when you realize that instead of adjusting your working life to pay for your non-working life, you adjust your non-working life to live within your means. Even though someone else wrote this on their blog - I had to repeat it, because it is exactly what we came to realize ourselves. Yes "Drift Away" - we FINALLY get it.

Miles and miles and miles to walk your dogs!!

This is the best marina we have been to in our travels.  It is where we put the boat right after we purchased it.
Barber is in the middle of nowhere, but they have a loaner car.  It is so clean, you can eat off the floors!
I am not kidding!!!   Most professional & friendly staff that would be hard to beat anywhere!  They will haul out your boat, you are able to work on it yourself and they will give you friendly, professional advice should you need it.
Our dogs loved the acres and acres of walking trails.
